Full Day Attendance
Here at Fixby House Nursery, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer first-class care for children with our professionally qualified team of childcare practitioners. If you’re interested in enrolling your child in our nursery the full details of our fees can be seen below…
NB – You can save a further 20% on these costs with Tax Free Childcare.
The fees above equate to approximately £81 per day. Extra days will be charged at £87.
Please provide nappies, baby wipes and formula milk. We provide full fat cow’s milk once your child is 12 months old.
Please note our fees are renewed annually.
Government Funding
All children aged three and four years old are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education each week, during term time only. Please speak to Charlie or Brit for more information.
If you require your child to attend nursery for a full day, we use the funding to reduce your fees so that your child can attend year-round for a discounted rate.
From September 2025, all eligible working families of children aged 9 months up to 3-years-old can access 30 hours of funded childcare per week.
To check your eligibility and apply for your unique code go to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
Under the 30-hour funded child care, each child is entitled to a total of 1140 hours of childcare funding per academic year (term time/38weeks). Here at Fixby House your 30 hours of funding per week will be stretched over 51 weeks to align with our operating hours. You will therefore receive 22 hours of funding per week.
A government scheme designed to help working parents save on their childcare costs. The government will pay 20% of your fees up to a capped maximum of £2000 per year.
You can use the tax-free childcare scheme throughout your child’s time at nursery and beyond, even when they become eligible for early education funding the term after their third birthday. We highly recommend that you sign up for this scheme at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
Available to eligible 2-year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds. All 3 and 4 year olds are currently entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare per week. However, there is also an extended entitlement of an extra 15 hours per week for eligible, working families. To find out what funding you could receive, visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
Terms & Conditions
Once you have chosen Fixby House Nursery as the right place for your little one, you will have the opportunity to book our settling-in sessions to help support a smooth and positive transition into nursery life. A £70 fee covers these sessions, including a delicious homemade lunch prepared by our in-house chef, Tom.
Our settling-in sessions give your child the chance to gently become familiar with their new surroundings, build trusting relationships with the nursery team, and begin to feel comfortable with our daily routines in a warm and reassuring environment before they officially start with us.
All absences are charged at our normal rate. This enables your child’s place to be retained. Due to the strict staffing ratios here at Fixby House, patterns of attendance must be adhered to. A child is unable to ‘swap’ days of attendance. If extra days of attendance are required by parents, these will be given at the discretion of nursery management. Parents will be invoiced separately for extra days and will be charged £83 per day.
Fixby House will be closed on Bank Holidays and for 1 week at Christmas. These are accounted for in our fee structure and therefore are chargeable.
